Overview

Big Daddy’s House is a homemade condiment brand built on small batch authenticity and bold, exciting flavors. I worked closely with the client to develop a cohesive brand identity, including unique labels for their full product line, propped display photos of the products, and a custom point of purchase display mockup.

The result is a visual identity that honors the brand's homemade roots while maintaining a bold, contemporary presence that stands out on any retail shelf.

Logo

The objective for Big Daddy’s House was to balance a personable, gritty soul with a high quality artisanal finish. To ground the brand in authenticity, I centered the identity on a custom illustration of the founder. This highlights the fact that he personally crafts and packages every product.

To achieve a high-end yet rugged aesthetic, I paired a bold grunge inspired typeface with a sophisticated black and gold palette. I carried this texture into the illustration by using a rough pencil brush technique to ensure every element felt cohesive.
