Overview

Theta Music Camp is a young adult retreat where musicians explore the connection between the mind, nature, and musical creation. The program uniquely incorporates brainwave science to help artists unlock their internal creativity.

My role in this project was to design a direct mailer and an informational brochure to advertise the upcoming retreat session. Using the established brand guidelines and provided assets, I developed these materials to communicate the camp's innovative approach while maintaining a consistent visual identity.

Process

I started this project by conducting extensive research on the brand to ensure I could represent its mission and values appropriately. Through this research, I found that Theta's mission is to guide the next generation of musicians and to transform how they create and experience music.

Their tone was listed as:

  • Inspiring yet grounded

  • Contemplative yet clear

  • Knowledgeable yet inviting

  • Authentic yet professional

Using this info, as well as the branding assets, consumer variable data, and guidelines provided, I was able to create a design for both the mailer and brochure that appealed to both brands' identity and audience.
